thoughts: hmm, not much on the eye and the finish on the underside is somewhat unsettling, but maybe there is more to it. No bolts, hardware or fasteners. No colors, paints or dyes. thoughts: it seems as if it could be played rather than installed. the simplest solutions are often the best and most intelligent. while i would love to see this on a larger scale, and adding not only shelving but seating as well, the elegance with which this rethought of shelving is executed makes Sebastián Errázuriz someone worth looking up to.

Thoughts: strong example of intigration design. this answers the question of how to intigrate technology into our lives in order to solve problems and create new ways of relating to the world. How does one become a healthier person? diet and exercise, duh. how does one eat better easily? intigrate the power of inovative technologies into your food prep routine in a way that makes not using the benefits of technology harder than using them.
